Reading online reviews about our Chicago Wedding DJ services has become one of our favorite Monday morning activities. This week we’re excited to share with you one of our most recent reviews from Wedding Wire. This review comes from Trent & Kimmi Horn. Here’s what they had to say about us after their July 22nd, 2011 reception at Bobak’s Signature Events.
When it comes to finding a DJ for your wedding, there is no question that Stevie Dee is the best in the industry. He not only plays great music for the reception, but he directs everything that will be happenning to make your wedding day go as smoothly and entertaining as possible. He gives you a login username on his website that allows you to request songs, type in the timeline of the wedding, and a planning sheet , so there is no room for error. He meets with you twice to make sure both him and the bride and groom are comfortable. He is such a great person and loves what he does. He is young and upbeat and knows how to entertain all ages. Unlike other DJs, he makes a seven minute video (Jam Cam) that briefly shows different parts of the wedding day! 
It was so nice to see our video the weekend of the wedding because pictures and wedding video take so much time. There is no one else better than Steve to entertain your guests. He has worked mine and my sister’s weddings and we were so blown away! I wouldn’t trust anyone else to be there on such a huge day! You will not be disappointed!

The Chicago wedding season is in full effect and our DJ crew has been out in full force working with some pretty amazing couples! This morning we awoke to find this amazing testimonial review on our WeddingWire page. Today’s review comes from Jasand & Krystyna Pereza. Their Homer Glen Wedding took place this past weekend on June 11th, 2011 at Dinolfos in Homer Glen, Illinois. Here’s what they had to say about Stevie Dee, one of our Chicago Wedding DJs.
Stevie Dee at Operation Getdown DJs was an exceptionally great person to work with. We had originally booked a D.J at another company and things fell through. We were bummed out we had lost a key part of our wedding. We were recommend Operation Getdown DJs, and I must say, it was a smart choice to take this advice. We were not let down by Operation Getdown DJs. Within the first week of us deciding to go with them, we had been in contact with Stevie Dee more times than we had with the first DJ we booked, and we had them booked for close to a year! We were allowed to choose our own music as well as let him decide what to play. Everything he played was excellent and set the mood for our wedding perfectly. My wife and I truly appreciate how well he coordinated things during the reception between the photographer, videographers, and reception hall. It was a huge stress relief! For the last three days, and we’ve only been married three days, we have received many compliments about the music, his professionalism, and the overall job he did. After 185 wedding receptions long time Chicago Wedding DJ, Stevie Dee, gets the opportunity to relax and enjoy his own wedding celebration. That’s right Stevie Dee is officially tying the knot today at 6:30pm in Dyer, Indiana. Congrats to him and Kaitlyn as they celebrate their love and union!
Please note: Since the couple will be out of town for their honeymoon, the Operation Getdown office will be closed the week of April 16th-25th. Thank you for your patience. We’ll see you all in a week!
P.S. We’ll also be sure to post a Jam Cam video once the couple returns. Lots of exciting things happening at this reception!

“We used Operation Getdown DJs for our wedding a year and a half ago and we still recommend Stevie Dee to anyone we know getting married. From our first meeting with him, we knew we didn’t have to look anywhere else and his price was no more than any other DJs. He was professional and answered all questions that I had. It’s not too often that we post too many pictures here on our Chicago DJ blog, but this week we thought it’d be fun to share a quick photo. For those of you that didn’t catch it. Our owner, Stevie Dee, was recently engaged! We’ve all been pretty excited about it and we thought it would be fun to share one of their recent engagement photos (without asking his permission of course) haha. This was kind of an impromptu picture but their photographers didn’t let the moment pass bye.
