On June 5th, 2010 Stevie Dee, one of our Chicago Party DJs, had the opportunity to celebrate with the town of Palos Heights to celebrate the grand re-opening of their public pool. Palos Heights Pool had been closed for over a year now, but with the help of some wonderful individuals they were able to reopen it and give it a complete makeover including a few new water slides, a new filter and plenty of new deck accessories.
The Grand Reopening ceremony commenced around 11:15 am where they had ribbon cutting by a few members of the pool staff and mayor Bob Straz of Palos Heights. There were even a few state representatives on hand for the celebration. After opening they raffled off a ticket for the first person to go down the water slide. What a fun way to kick off another great swimming season. Stevie Dee was then on hand till about 3:30 playing all of your favorite summertime music hits.
