It’s been awhile since we’ve posted one of our WeddingWire reviews here on the blog.  This past weekend we received a five-star review that we just had to post.  This review comes from Mike + Colleen Rosendale.  They were married on January 6th, 2012 at DiNolfos Banquets in Mokena, Illinois.  Here’s what they had to say about our services after the turntables came to a halt and the lights came up. …

Stevie Dee is a no brainier MUST USE for any function that needs a dj service. I even hesitate using the term “dj” to describe stevie dee. He is like a mini wedding planner on the side for you too, and if he is involved in your day you can be assured that your day will run smoothly. Steve will do just about anything you can for ya. He is very prompt on answering any emails/phone calls and the most professional person I’ve met. He asked for a lot of information that you just wouldn’t expect a dj to take care of or pay attention to. He wrote down a lot of our vendors, their numbers and who to contact incase something wasnt running smoothly for the day. The night of our wedding he gave a very professional short speech to our whole wedding party, that he basically was here to take care of us and anything we needed for the night. If we had any problems we were to contact him and he followed up to get it taken care of. One example was the temp in the room was too hot or cold I forget and he contacted who he needed to at the reception location and got that switched right away. He also checked in every X amount of time with the head table to assure we didnt need anything. During cocktail hours he brought me and my groom our drink of choice and always checked to make sure it was full if wanted, so we could mingle with our guests. I couldnt have been any happier with his service. He also offers amazing uplighting (I think his sister company maybe be KaitRose uplighting). He came up with such unique and cool ideas for our wedding day to make ours stand out from just an average reception. If we came up with an idea, he’d build on it to make it better, and then even keep going to build on that idea. I honestly cannot express how happy we were to have Steve for our dj. So many people complimented us on how exceptional our dj was, and how he had so many different mixes that what they are used to hearing. Steve is truly so talented at what he does that in no way shape or form will you be disappointed. To end my reivew I’d like to put it as simple as this of how great steve’s work is. The night we got engaged we both agreed 2 non negotiable things for our wedding. It would be an open bar, and Stevie Dee would be our dj. My sister took it a step further and planned her wedding date around his few open available Saturdays left for 2012! I dont know how many people would be willing to do that for a vendor, but they have to be good!

On January 14th, 2012 our Chicago Quinceanera DJ staff was on location at the Tinley Park VFW Hall for Melissa B’s birthday bash.  This event had about 125 guests in attendance and it was a non-stop party from start to finish.  Check out this exciting video below to get an inside peak into all the festivities!

December has arrived!  Many of you have probably notices a lack of updates here on our blog. Things have been so busy the past couple of months we haven’t had much time to blog.   This week however we’d like to share a review we recieved on WeddingWire. This week’s review comes from Tom + Misty Sekulski. They were the lucky couple who got married on 11-11-2011! Here’s what they had the say about their recent experience with Stevie Dee, one of our Tinley Park Wedding DJs.

Stevie is a fantastic DJ! From our first meeting with him until the wedding, he was professional, easy to contact, flexible, organized, thoughful and so much more. The DJ for us, was one of the most important parts of the wedding. We have been to weddings that the DJ was terrible and all we could think is “I hope that doesn’t happen to us”…let’s face it…the DJ plays a big part in how much fun your wedding is. This is why we are so glad we choose Stevie Dee! I really never realized how much a DJ does, he sets the whole tone of the wedding. As soon as we walked into our reception venue, Stevie had everything under control. He brought us drinks and checked on us to see if we needed anything. All of our guests keep telling us how great our DJ was and how much fun they had at our wedding. In fact one of my bridesmaids has decided to hire Stevie for her upcoming wedding! I can’t wait to go to her wedding because I know it will fun if Stevie is the DJ!!!

It’s a new week and that means it’s time for another online review! This week’s review comes from Eddie & Carly Santiago. These guys celebrated their wedding reception on September 3rd, 2011 in the East Room within Dinolfos Banquets. Here’s what they had to say about us after they used our Orland Park Wedding DJ Services…..

This was the best DJ ever!!!!!!! I have gone to many weddings as well as stand up in many. Operation Getdown DJ’s got the party jumpin’! Our guests never left the dance floor! The lights set up was great and totally set the mood for a fun filled evening. He was clear on what he was saying and made sure we had all the directions we needed for the night. He kept the important things on task such as cake cutting, first dances, and tossing of the bouquet/garter. He kept checking on us through out the evening and reminded us that if there was anything that we needed, not to hesitate to ask! Operation Getdown DJ’s made our wedding reception a blast, and we cannot thank them more for making that happen!!!! My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Operation Getdown DJ’s for ANY event you’re planning!!!!!
