This past Thursday we had the opportunity to donate our Chicago Lighting services to Orland Park Christian Reformed Church in Orland Park, Illinois. We’ve worked with Orland Park church for quite a few years now and this year they wanted to add a dramatic lighting effect to their stage for their Maundy Thursday service. After chatting with their staff, we decided to keep it simple and really play on colors to create a mood that was subtle and somber.
This desired mood led us to choose a vintage red and a deep wine purple color with our LED Up Lighting. As you can see by the picture below the colors contrasted quite well and the desired mood was acquired. Please note this picture was taken on an iPhone and the quality is not what I would consider “up to par”. All in all though, the service was a complete success and it was very powerful to say the very least!
The next event at Orland Park Church that we’ll be apart of is their Vacation Bible School program which will be in June. This event will be for children ages 3-6th grade and we’ll be providing the sound reinforcement and the lighting for their event! It should be a fun time. Stay tuned for pictures and video of that event!
