It’s 2012 and that means it’s time for an upgrade on some of our popular Chicago DJ Lighting Packages. This week we’ve done an entire overhaul on our popular LED Light Towers. This upgrade will make our lights brighter, taller and more visually striking at your event. This new burst of energetic lighting will enhance your event and help create a whimsical mood that you and your guests will adore! Pair these with popular Chicago Uplighting or Northwest Indiana Uplighting and you’ll be on your way!
If that’s not enough, we’ve also added real “air-raid” fire engine sirens for those occasional moments when we need a burst of energy from you and your guests. We’ve installed these mostly for our school dance clients, but on occasion they might come in handy for a few weddings (used sparingly of course!).

On January 14th, 2012 our Chicago Quinceanera DJ staff was on location at the Tinley Park VFW Hall for Melissa B’s birthday bash. This event had about 125 guests in attendance and it was a non-stop party from start to finish. Check out this exciting video below to get an inside peak into all the festivities!

December has arrived! Many of you have probably notices a lack of updates here on our blog. Things have been so busy the past couple of months we haven’t had much time to blog. This week however we’d like to share a review we recieved on WeddingWire. This week’s review comes from Tom + Misty Sekulski. They were the lucky couple who got married on 11-11-2011! Here’s what they had the say about their recent experience with Stevie Dee, one of our Tinley Park Wedding DJs.
Stevie is a fantastic DJ! From our first meeting with him until the wedding, he was professional, easy to contact, flexible, organized, thoughful and so much more. The DJ for us, was one of the most important parts of the wedding. We have been to weddings that the DJ was terrible and all we could think is “I hope that doesn’t happen to us”…let’s face it…the DJ plays a big part in how much fun your wedding is. This is why we are so glad we choose Stevie Dee! I really never realized how much a DJ does, he sets the whole tone of the wedding. As soon as we walked into our reception venue, Stevie had everything under control. He brought us drinks and checked on us to see if we needed anything. All of our guests keep telling us how great our DJ was and how much fun they had at our wedding. In fact one of my bridesmaids has decided to hire Stevie for her upcoming wedding! I can’t wait to go to her wedding because I know it will fun if Stevie is the DJ!!!

This was the best DJ ever!!!!!!! I have gone to many weddings as well as stand up in many. Operation Getdown DJ’s got the party jumpin’! Our guests never left the dance floor! The lights set up was great and totally set the mood for a fun filled evening. He was clear on what he was saying and made sure we had all the directions we needed for the night. He kept the important things on task such as cake cutting, first dances, and tossing of the bouquet/garter. He kept checking on us through out the evening and reminded us that if there was anything that we needed, not to hesitate to ask! Operation Getdown DJ’s made our wedding reception a blast, and we cannot thank them more for making that happen!!!! My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Operation Getdown DJ’s for ANY event you’re planning!!!!!

Absolutely awesome! Once the ceremony was done, he was there for my bride and me. Getting us drinks, making sure the night was going well so far checking on the flow of the pictures he was there to serve us no matter what. He made it a point to come to me for the pre-wedding meetings. He has just about every piece of music out there and if not, he had no problems getting a few from me. Everyone at my reception commented on how wonderful he was. I could not imagine my wedding and reception with another DJ.
